How did Payolution calculate the VAT portion of the shopping cart? / Which VAT rate was assumed by Payolution?

Payolution's calculation is based on the normal VAT rates at the time the service is provided (= shipping). Temporary VAT reductions, e.g. due to Corona, are taken into account. Reduced VAT rates for certain product groups are not taken into account, as Payolution does not have the necessary data/article information.

In the case of intra-Community distance sales, we assume taxation in the country of destination.
