How do I create a virtual card?

A virtual card is created directly on the platform and can be used immediately for digital payments. Before creating the card, decide who will receive the card, how long it will be valid, and how much money can be spent with it.
- Start the card creation process.
- Select the employee who will use the card.
- Select "virtual card" as the card type.
- Set how long the card should be valid.
- Enter a total limit. This is the maximum amount that can be spent with this card.
- Optional: Set a limit per transaction. Then each individual payment may only go up to this amount.
- Optional: Add a cost center. This helps with accounting later.
- Give the card a clear name, for example "Trade show budget", "Marketing subscriptions", or "Travel expenses".
- Review the summary and create the card.
Example: An employee is going to a trade show and may spend a maximum of €2,000. In this case, you create a virtual card with a total limit of €2,000.
If the employee spends €500, €1,500 remains.
Once the €2,000 has been fully used, no further payments can be made with this card unless a new limit is assigned.
