Payout Logic After UFS Activation
Where will my girocard and credit card transactions be paid out?
Once Unzer Financial Services (UFS) has been activated, your payouts will be routed to different accounts depending on the payment method.
- girocard transactions → paid out to your existing external settlement account
- Credit card transactions → paid out to your integrated Unzer Financial Services business account provided by Pliant
Until Unzer Financial Services has been activated, all payouts will continue to be transferred to the settlement account specified in your contract.
Credit Card Payout Split
Your credit card acceptance agreement defines what percentage of your credit card payouts will be transferred to your Unzer Financial Services business account.
However, the payout split can be adjusted.
Available Payout Split Options
You may choose to have 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% of your credit card payouts transferred to your Unzer Financial Services account.

Do I Need to Close My Existing Business Account?
Your existing settlement account will remain relevant and will continue to be used, particularly for your girocard payouts.
Unzer Financial Services complements your existing banking setup by providing an integrated business account for the agreed share of your credit card payouts.
Example
A merchant generates the following sales in one day:
- €1,000 in girocard transactions
- €500 in credit card transactions
With a 100% payout split, the payouts would be processed as follows:
