What does MOTO mean?
MOTO (Mail Order / Telephone Order) payments are card payments made via telephone or email, where the cardholder is not physically present and the payment is accepted and activated through a virtual terminal.
The booking of a MOTO payment is handled at Unzer via a dedicated form in the Unzer Insights portal.
First, you enter the basic order data – such as payment method, transaction type, amount, currency, and the credit card details. Then, depending on the selected payment method, various mandatory customer data fields must be filled in. Once all information is provided, the order can be added. In the final step "Status", the payment is processed by Unzer and the result is displayed to you in text form.
Afterwards, the transaction is shown in the transaction list and can be further processed.
