Option 2: Excel Web

Excel Web is a simplified version that can only be used through the browser. Not all functions available in the desktop version are present here. To open a CSV file, you should apply the tip from Option 1.

If you don't want to proceed as in Option 1, you also have the option to use one of the many online services that convert your CSV file into an Excel file.
For instance, https://convertio.co/de/csv-xlsx/ is a suitable option.
If you want to open the .xlsx file in Excel Web, you need to click on "Upload and Open" on the homepage and then select the appropriate file.
