Required information on your website

Many companies offer their customers the opportunity to buy products or services online. To ensure that customers know which provider they are dealing with, lawmakers have introduced a requirement for a site notice to appear on websites.

A site notice must include the following information:

  • Business name
  • Chamber of commerce
  • Legal form (for legal entities)
  • Business address
  • Email address or other information for direct contact
  • Tax ID

A site notice is like a business card. It gives shoppers an idea of the company or person behind the website they are browsing—and also lets them take legal action against bad actors if necessary.
