CCV PAX A920 - Activation of Account Index / Account Splitting

With the account index function, you can split a payment amount across multiple accounts or assign it to a specific account. There are two use cases for account splitting:


* Sale of different product groups within one store

* Shared use of a device across multiple stores or practices


This step-by-step instruction will show you how to activate the account splitting function on your card terminal.


The account index function must first be contractually agreed upon in order to be used.


Menu button

Please tap the button with the 3 horizontal lines at the bottom right.




PIN entry

Please now enter your merchant PIN.


You can find the terminal ID on your merchant receipts or on the POS interface.
    Terminal IDs starting with 68xxxxxx: 111111
    Terminal IDs starting with 526xxxxx: 0123


Please confirm the entry by pressing the green OK button.



Administration

Please select the menu item "Administration".



Payment Transactions

Please tap the menu item "Payment Transactions".



Account Index Selection

To activate it, please select the menu item "Account Index".




Activation

In Fig. 1, you can enter the number of accounts contractually agreed upon.


Technically, up to 9 different accounts can be stored.

In Fig. 2, you can assign a label to the various accounts as needed.


The label will also appear on the cashier report / end-of-day statement.

The account splitting / account index function is now active. After entering the amount, you will be asked to select an account. You can now enter the desired account there.
