CCV PAX A920 - Deactivation of your POS system connection

Modified on Thu, 29 Jan at 11:10 AM

In this tutorial, we will show you how to deactivate the connection between your CCV PAX A920 and your POS system.

Output display

In Fig. 1 you can see your output display.

Please select the "Favorites" menu item.

Then, as shown in Fig. 2, select the main menu button.

PIN entry

Please now enter your merchant PIN.

You can find the terminal ID on your merchant receipts or on the POS interface.

Terminal IDs starting with 68xxxxxx: 111111

Terminal IDs starting with 526xxxxx: 0123

Please confirm the entry by pressing the green OK button.

Menu structure

Please navigate, as shown in Fig. 1, to the menu item "Administration" and then to the menu item "POS" (Fig. 2).

Completion

Please deactivate the checkbox for "Local POS" by tapping it.

From now on, your output display will show the amount entry. This means you can once again enter payment amounts manually.

However, with some POS system integrations (e.g. Tillhub), the connection is still active because the POS system is still registered on the card reader.

As soon as you disconnect or deregister the POS system from the card reader, no further amount transmissions will take place.

To return to your output display, please press the red stop button.

Deactivation is now complete.
