CCV PAX A920 - Use of the Tipping Function

In this article, we would like to show you how the tipping function is designed on your CCV PAX A920 card reader.
Some summarized information:
- Percentage-based and manual tip request possible
- Girocard and credit cards via contactless and chip-based payment possible
- Tip request directly after entering the amount
- Tip display as a total amount per card type on the end-of-day report
In Fig. 1, you can see the tip request after the amount entry.
Fig. 2 shows the layout of the merchant receipt as well as the TIP display on the end-of-day report.

Tip Activation
Would you like to offer your end customer the option to leave a tip? We would be happy to set up the tipping function for you.
The tipping function is activated via the cash register reset and the associated diagnostics on the card reader after activation. This should take place within 48 hours. We will inform you about this by email.
