Payment with Telephone Authorization
For some issuing banks of a credit card, a telephone authorization is required to successfully complete the credit card payment. This requirement is often indicated during a credit card transaction with the FEP 02 code.
In this step-by-step guide, we will show you how to process a credit card payment using telephone authorization.
Through the telephone approval service of the credit card used, you will receive an authorization code for the upcoming payment.
Menu Button
Please tap the button with the three horizontal lines at the bottom right.

PIN Entry
Please now enter your merchant PIN.
You can find the terminal ID on your merchant receipts or on the cash register report.
Terminal IDs starting with 68xxxxxx: 111111
Terminal IDs starting with 526xxxxx: 0123
Please confirm the entry with the green OK key.

Transactions
Please select the menu item Transactions.

Select Tel. Authorization
Please select Telephone Authorization.

Select Payment
Please select the menu item Payment here.

Enter Amount
Please enter the desired amount for the payment.

Present Card
Please insert the card or press the green button with the three dots for a manual transaction.

Enter Authorization Number
Please now enter the authorization number.
You will receive this either from the cardholder or from the issuing bank (e.g. booking.com, Expedia, etc.).
