Ingenico - Cancellation (Storno)

Do you need to cancel a transaction? This step-by-step guide will show you how.
Important Notes!
A cancellation is only possible before the end-of-day report has been performed.
The customer’s card must be present.

Variant 1: Using Favorites Key
Please press any key to access the amount entry screen.
Select the F3 favorites key.

Cancellation
In the favorites menu, select Storno.

Password Entry
Please enter your 5-digit cashier password and confirm the entry with the green OK button.

Please go to: Trace Number
Variant 2:
Function Code
Please press the F key at the bottom left of the keypad repeatedly until "Funktionscode" appears on the display.
Function Code 2
Enter the number 2 and confirm with the green OK button.

Trace Number
The cancellation refers to the original transaction.
You will find the Trace Number on the merchant receipt of the original transaction (see Fig. 2).
Enter this Trace Number here.
Confirm the entry with the green OK button.


Confirm Amount
Confirm the amount to be canceled with the green OK button.

Present Card
The cancellation can only be processed using the original customer’s card.
