CCV - Check Connection
Modified on Wed, 4 Feb at 9:51 AM
In this step-by-step tutorial, we will show you how to perform a connection test to the authorization systems using your CCV Base Next or CCV Mobile Premium.
Have you already set up your connection?
Are the connection symbols active?
Here we offer you the tutorials for this:
- Set up your connection
- Explanation of connection symbols
Initialization
As the first step, please tap the Favorites key. You will now see various favorites. Please select Initialization (Fig. 2).
The initialization checks whether a connection to our authorization system exists. It also verifies that the terminal ID matches.

Menu PIN
Please now enter your merchant PIN.
You can find the terminal ID on your merchant receipts or on the end-of-day report.
Terminal IDs beginning with 61xxxxxx: 111111
Terminal IDs beginning with 68xxxxxx: 111111
Terminal IDs beginning with 526xxxxx: 0123
Please confirm your entry with the green OK key.
The process will conclude with a printout stating “Successfully completed.” A diagnostic printout will follow.
If you receive an error message (e.g., FEP 82), please contact our technical service hotline or use our contact form.
To return to the amount entry screen, please use the red X key.
