What is an Apple ID?

Every time you set up a new Apple device, you will be prompted to create an Apple ID or sign in with an existing one. The Apple ID is your personal account used to access all Apple services, such as the App Store or iTunes Store. It consists of an email address and a password created specifically for this purpose. Use the same Apple ID each time you sign in to ensure that all your services and devices work together seamlessly. This way, you can access your personal content from any of your Apple devices.

Note: If you already use an Apple product privately and have an Apple ID, you can also use it for your iPad with the Tillhub App installed. However, we recommend creating a new Apple ID under a different email address for business use, to avoid coworkers accessing content that might be viewed via your private Apple ID.

The following are the three ways to create an Apple ID:

Automatic Creation of the Apple ID Upon First Setup

When you turn on your iPad for the first time, you will be prompted to either sign in with your Apple ID or create a new one. If you wish to set up a new Apple ID, simply follow the on-screen steps.

Creation of the Apple ID Through Your iPad Settings

Tap the "Settings" app icon located on the home screen of your iPad. Then select "iTunes & App Store" and tap "Sign In." A window will open with the option to create a new Apple ID.

1. First, you must select the appropriate Apple Store, which may vary based on your billing address. Then click "Next."

2. Read and accept the terms of service and privacy policy.

3. Fill out the form with your personal details and confirm with "Next." The email address you provide here will be your new Apple ID. Then tap "Done."

4. Verify your email address using the code sent to the email address you provided.

Note: If you are using a pre-owned iPad with an existing Apple ID, you will see the "Create New Apple ID" option instead of "Sign In."

Creation Via the Apple Website

To create your Apple ID online, please click on the following link: Create Apple ID. A contact form will appear where you enter your data. A verification code will then be sent to the email address provided, which you enter in the newly opened window.
