Ingenico IWL 250 (Wi‑Fi) / IWL 258 / ICT250 (Wi‑Fi) / Desk 5000 / Move 5000 – Activate OPI and configure ports

For setting up your terminal, you will need the following two passwords:

• Technician password
• Cashier password

Please obtain both passwords from your payment provider before you begin. 

Step 1: Press the F key repeatedly until the function code prompt appears -> enter 513 and confirm -> enter the technician password -> switch the operating mode to OPI and confirm.

Step 2: Press the F key once -> select Settings -> enter the cashier password -> select Connections -> select POS (incoming) -> select TCP/IP -> set the TCP port to 20002.

Step 3: Go back to the Connections menu and select POS (outgoing) -> select TCP/IP -> set the TCP port to 20007.

Step 4: Go back to the Connections menu and select DFÜ Assistant -> Wi‑Fi -> select the Wi‑Fi network -> enter the password -> DHCP (Yes) -> Use X.25 router (No) -> Save changes (Yes).

Step 5: Press the Stop key to return to the home screen (the terminal will restart).

Step 6: In the app, go to Settings -> OPI terminal -> search for the device -> Add terminal -> Sign in.

Note: If the IP address is not found via automatic search in the app, you can enter it manually. You can find the IP address on the terminal under Settings -> Administration -> Show system info (then scroll down three steps).
