Enable article number generator
To avoid having to manually enter article numbers each time, activate the "Article Number Generator." To do this, click on "Settings" in the main menu of the dashboard. Then navigate to "Items" in the submenu and activate the toggle at the top right of the screen: "The article number generator is activated."
Next, decide which components your article numbers should consist of by dragging the blue blocks with the desired values into the blue-bordered field.
For example, if you want your article numbers to consist of a sequential number and always display the corresponding product group number, drag the blocks "Sequence" and "Product Group" into the blue-bordered field.
Note: We recommend using this feature in the system only if you create articles manually and do not work with an imported article list.

Item List
Please follow the video instructions below when filling out the item list:
Import standard items
Step 1: Import standard items
After you have filled out your item list, navigate in the main menu of the dashboard to "Items" and then to "Product Manager".
Click the arrow next to the blue "+New" button in the upper right. A drop-down menu will appear. Select the option "Import Standard Items" and upload your completed item Excel sheet.
In the drop-down list, select the tab of your Excel sheet named "Standard Items". Then click the blue "Submit" button.

Step 2: Import standard items
In the next window, confirm the column headers by selecting "Yes".
In the following window, review the mappings of your column headers by clicking the grey "Edit" button to view the details. Add any missing information if necessary. In the example below, the "EAN" column was not correctly mapped.
For the EAN column, select the mapping "Barcodes".

Are you ready to submit?
Then click the blue "Check" button at the bottom right. If no fields are marked red in the next window, click the blue "Submit" button.
You can edit red-marked fields with a double-click. The red markings indicate where mappings are still missing.
After submission, another window will appear asking: "Are you ready to submit?" Click "Yes".
In the next window, click "OK".

Import variant items
Step 1: Import variant items
After you have imported your standard items, navigate in the main menu of the dashboard to "Items" and then to "Inventory Manager".
Click the arrow next to the blue "+New" button in the top right. A drop-down menu will appear. Select the option "Import Variants" and upload your completed item Excel sheet.
In the drop-down list, select the tab of your Excel sheet named "Variant Items". Then click the blue "Submit" button.

Step 2: Import variant items
In the next window, confirm the column headers by selecting "Yes".
Compare the assignments of your column names in the following window by clicking the grey "Edit" button to view the details. Add any missing information if necessary. In the example below, attribute names and values were not correctly mapped.
For the column "Name of property", select "Attribute Name 1"; for "Value of property", select "Attribute Value 1". If you have multiple attributes, continue the mapping as follows:
"Property Name 2" → "Attribute Name 2"; "Property Value 2" → "Attribute Value 2", and so on.

Review & Submission
Then click the blue "Check" button at the bottom right. If no fields are marked in red in the next window, click the blue "Submit" button.
You can edit red-marked fields with a double-click. The red markings indicate where mappings are still missing.
After a successful import, click "OK" to finish.
