Update for Your Card Reader

In this step-by-step tutorial, we will show you how to perform an update on your CCV Mobile Premium & CCV Base Next card reader.


To ensure the update is not blocked by a firewall, please make sure your internet router is configured as follows:

IP address whitelist: 80.72.137.22 (TCP/IP) – Port: 1260


If you have questions about configuring your firewall or internet router, please contact your IT service provider or technician.


The update process will take approximately 15 minutes, during which no card payments can be processed. If using a mobile connection (SIM card), it may take up to 30 minutes.



Favorites Button

You will see your main display. Please select the Favorites button.

Select by tapping.



Menu Button

Now please select the Menu button.


Menu PIN

Please now enter your merchant PIN.


You can find the Terminal ID on your merchant receipts or on the end-of-day report.

Terminal IDs starting with 61xxxxxx: 111111

Terminal IDs starting with 68xxxxxx: 111111

Terminal IDs starting with 526xxxxx: 0123

Please confirm the entry by pressing the green OK button.



Service

Please navigate to the Service menu item (Fig. 2).




Maintenance Call

Here, please select the menu item Maintenance Call.



Order Number and Completion

Please delete all existing entries using the yellow key and enter the appropriate order number below:


You can find the terminal ID on your merchant receipt or on the end-of-day report.

  • 68xxxxxx
    Order number: SPS7013PAX (10 characters)
  • 526xxxxx
    Order number: 70160201 (8 characters)


After confirming the order number with the green OK key, you will see two small arrows next to your connection symbol, indicating the download (Fig. 2).


This process will take approximately 15 minutes, during which no card payments can be processed. If using a mobile connection (SIM card), it may take up to 30 minutes.


Important Note:

  1. Please connect the card reader to the power supply and keep it connected until the update has been completed successfully.
  2. Do not use the card reader from the start of the update until it is fully and successfully completed.


The update process concludes with the printing of 3 receipts. After that, your card reader is ready for use again.
