Where can I enter my DATEV header data?

• Navigate to the "Settings" in the main menu on the left, and then to "General" in the submenu.
• Click on "Accounting" on the right side of the screen.

The DATEV section will appear on the right side of the screen, where you can enter your DATEV header data into the mandatory fields (*). You should receive the DATEV header data from your tax advisor.

How does my tax advisor receive my DATEV-export?

You have two main options to make your DATEV export accessible to your tax advisor:

1. You can create the DATEV export yourself and send it to your tax advisor as a CSV file via email.
2. You can grant your tax advisor access to your dashboard, allowing them to create and download the DATEV export themselves.

Internal Transit Account (Durchlaufkonto)

The accounting logic of the Tillhub cash register system follows the current guidelines of the German Tax Advisor Association: Different revenue accounts are first posted against an internal transit account (Durchlaufkonto), while the internal transit account is posted against the cash register and the non-cash payment types (accounts receivable). This ensures a clear separation of all revenues per payment type in accordance with the GoBD, especially for transactions involving multiple payment types. Additionally, all cash register postings are listed against a deposit and withdrawal account, including any possible reconciliation entry that might have occurred with the cash closing account.

Therefore, it is crucial that you enter a non-profit affecting account for the internal transit account, such as 1371 for SKR03.

Where can I enter the account number for the internal transit account?

Navigate to "Settings" on the left menu, and then to "General" in the submenu. Click on "Accounting" on the right side of the screen. At the top right, in the empty field titled "Transit Account," you can enter your non-profit affecting account for the internal transit account of the Tillhub cash register system.
