Coordinate standard chart of accounts with your tax advisor
Modified on Tue, 17 Feb at 2:16 PM
All business transactions in a company are recorded in accounting using general ledger accounts. Therefore, the first step is to clarify with your tax advisor which standard chart of accounts (SKR) you should use for your bookkeeping.
A chart of accounts is a specific collection of various ledger accounts, which can vary depending on the type of business.
The most commonly used are SKR03 and SKR04, but there are many other industry-specific charts of accounts that your tax advisor can help you with.
Our system is pre-configured for SKR03 by default.
To see which accounts are already set up in our system and how you can modify them, refer to the following sections.
To get started:
Log in to your Tillhub Dashboard at:
https://dashboard.tillhub.com/loginLeave the "Organization" field empty.
In the left-hand main menu, navigate to "Finance."
